Carson City emergency crews called to 2 crashes at US-50 East, William and Gold Dust Way
UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Wednesday afternoon to a crash involving two vehicles, one being a semi and a van in the 3900 block of Highway 50 East.
Minutes later emergency responders were called to a second vehicle crash at the intersection of East William and Gold Dust Way.
The first crash were reported at around 2:45 p.m. and involved a semi and a van. A medical helicopter was ordered for one patient, the driver of the semi, who was flown to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno, said Chris Mason, Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The second crash at East Willam and Gold Dust West Way, was reported at 2:51 p.m. and involved two vehicles. The crash was a non-injury accident.
