Carson City Chamber's April 23 Soup's On luncheon focuses on social media
If you can email, you can reach out to customers. Let them know the special of the day, the launch of a new product or just remind them now and then you are there and welcome their business.
Not all businesses need to have a web presence, but they do need to learn how to build and maintain a Facebook Page and Twitter. Then it’s on to the next level — and the next — and then the next beyond that.
The Carson City Chamber is inviting all businesses to learn why a Social Media presence is important and how to increase sales and customer awareness. The one-hour session will be a learning experience presented by two of our local Social Media Specialists: Kirk Caraway is the principal and founder of CarsonNow.org and Renee Plain is the owner of In Plain Sight Marketing and has created social media presence for local politicos and small businesses. See her web page here, Facebook page here and follow her on Twitter here.
The luncheon meeting will be held at the Gold Dust West on Thursday, April 23 beginning at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $17 for lunch and learning if booked and paid prior to April 21. Reservations may be made online here. See the flier below.
— Ronni Hannaman is the executive director of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce. Visit them at their website here, their Facebook page here and on Twitter.
