Mystery play comes to Piper’s Opera House; Spring performance by Piper’s Players happening in May
VIRGINIA CITY — Historic Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City, Nevada, hosts “Stone Cold Killer – A Jack Stone Mystery,” this spring. Performed by Piper’s Players, this murder mystery is open to all ages.
Theatergoers will meet protagonist Jack Stone, recently kicked out of the New York precinct and now taking his turn as a private investigator. When a potential client ends up dead, Stone becomes the suspect and must quickly solve the mystery before he ends up in jail and the killer goes free.
Tickets to “Stone Cold Killer” are available online now. Performances take place the first two weekends in May – May 6, 7 and 8 and May 13, 14 and 15. Showtimes vary and each performance lasts about an hour and 15 minutes. This show is not interactive.
Piper’s Players is a nonprofit, free community theater group that calls Piper’s Opera House home. The group provides acting opportunities for the rural and local communities around Virginia City, Nevada.
