Gaming revenue up 7.2 percent for Carson area casinos, 12.9 percent at south shore Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other others of Douglas County except for south shore Lake Tahoe saw a gaming revenue of $10,347,748 for the month, compared to $9,652,981 in February 2023, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
At south shore Lake Tahoe that includes the Stateline corridor, gaming revenue was up 12.93 percent, while north shore was down 5.31 percent.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,342,192,407 for the month of February 2024. This amounts to an 8.50 percent increase compared to February 2023, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,237,048,360. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2023 through February 29, 2024), gaming win has increased 5.23 percent.
Elsewhere, gaming revenue was up 10.8 percent in Reno, 3.31 percent in Sparks and 7.7 percent throughout Washoe County.
