Carson City sheriff's deputies make weekend arrests for DUI, warrants
A 33-year-old man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of a second DUI, driving with a revoked license for DUI and gross misdemeanor destruction of property, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
According to the report, a deputy was dispatched to the area of East Robinson and North Roop for an unknown injury accident. The deputy arrived with another deputy and observed a vehicle stopped with the driver door open in the middle of the intersection of Robinson and Walsh.
Deputies approached the vehicle and observed the suspect sitting in the driver seat of the disabled vehicle. Deputies were able to determine the man had been driving eastbound and struck a parked vehicle causing significant damage to both the parked vehicle and the disabled vehicle the man was driving, the report states.
A deputy asked the man if he was OK. The man said yes. The officer could smell an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. The officer asked for the man's driver's license, registration and insurance. The officer provided the man's information to dispatch, which returned with information stating the man had a revoked Nevada driver's license and a previous DUI conviction in 2021, the report states.
The officer asked the man if he would participate in field sobriety tests. The driver showed signs of impairment on the tests that was placed into custody for suspicion of DUI. He provided a preliminary breath test of .387. He was taken to the hospital for clearance and to jail. $6,274.

— A 31-year-old Dayton man, Cameron Mathew Haffey, was arrested Sunday for a felony violation of a suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $1,000.
— A 36-year-old man, Reese Kizer, was arrested Friday, for felony parole violation through Nevada State Parole and Probation. No bail hold in lieu of hearing.
— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday for a misdemeanor outside agency warrant, and for suspicion of driving without a valid driver's license and driving with expired registration. Bail: $764.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday for a misdemeanor outside agency warrant and for suspicion of driving with suspended registration and no insurance. Bail: $1,344.
