Chocolate Nugget to host Easter Adventure in Washoe Valley

On Saturday, March 30 the Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory will be transforming into an Easter wonderland for a free community event.
Located at 611 U.S. Highway 395 in New Washoe City, the fun begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. including egg hunts, Easter Bunny photos, games, and much more.
“Guests attending our event can look forward to an exciting lineup of activities that cater to all ages,” said the Chocolate Nugget’s Cesar Acosta. “Highlights include a live DJ setting the atmosphere with upbeat music, a unique spinning photo booth to capture fun memories, the Easter Bunny and friends making special appearances for photos and interactions, a professional photographer to take high-quality snaps, a bounce house for kids to enjoy, and a coffee/drink truck offering a variety of refreshments. The main attraction, of course, will be our Easter egg hunt, promising fun and surprises for everyone.”
When asked what was behind the inspiration to host the event, Acosta said it’s an opportunity to give back to the community.
“The Chocolate Nugget has been a proud part of this community since 1980, witnessing generations grow and continue to support us,” Acosta said. “Hosting the Easter event is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us through the years. It’s a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey, allowing us to share joy and create lasting memories together.”
Last year, the Chocolate Nugget also hosted a Winter Wonderland Christmas event, and Acosta said this is just the beginning of the holiday events they plan to host.
“Following the success of our Christmas event, we’re excited to announce that the Chocolate Nugget is expanding our event offerings,” Acosta said. “We’re currently making some exciting developments on our property to create a more comfortable event space. This includes hosting summer events like movie nights under the stars, complete with two new big gas fire pits. We’re also planning a fall event that will feature a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, hay rides, and a kid-friendly haunted house. We’re committed to creating more opportunities for community engagement and enjoyment throughout the year.”
