Nevada Humane Society, Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Shyly
Nevada Humane Society's Pet of the Week is Shyly, a beautiful 4-year-old collie mix who came to us about a month ago as a stray.
She is a very friendly dog who loves people, going outside for walks/hikes, playing fetch, and does great with children and other dogs! We are hoping to find a loving and active home for Shyly where she can receive plenty of affection and explore the world around her.
Here is what Shyly has to say about herself:
“Hi there, I'm Shyly. I've always been a people-loving pup, and I can't get enough of attention. But you know what I love even more? Going outside for walks and hikes! There's something about the fresh air and the feel of the ground beneath my paws that gets me excited every time. I'm no slouch in the brains department either; I've mastered tricks like sit, down, and shake like a pro. They call me a smart girl, and I'd have to agree! But let me tell you, all this energy needs an outlet, which is why I'm hoping to find a forever home with someone who loves outdoor adventures as much as I do. Sure, I might have a bit of a wandering spirit, but with the right person by my side — and a trusty leash, of course — I know I'll stay right where I belong, safe and loved.”
Shyly’s adoption fee is $75. You can meet her at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City, NV 89701, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
