Public memorial Wednesday in Reno for Care Flight crash victims
A public memorial will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 8 to honor the lives lost in the Feb. 24 REMSA Care Flight crash near Stagecoach.
The public memorial follows a week of private memorials held for individual victims for family and friends.

The memorial includes a procession, which will begin at 12:45 p.m. at Walton’s Funeral Home, located at Vine and 2nd St. in Reno, and will arrive around 1:15 p.m. to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, located at 4590 South Virginia St.

In addition to the memorial services, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo also ordered flags at half-staff until all memorials have finished.
Those honored are Pilot Scott Walton, Paramedic Ryan Watson, Flight Nurse Ed Pricola, Patient Mark “Bear” Rand and wife Terri Rand.
