Employers, students, job seekers invited to 2018 WNC Job Fair
Area employers will have an opportunity to recruit Western Nevada College students for job openings during the annual job fair on Wednesday, March 14.
Western Nevada College and Carson City Health and Human Services invites employers, students and job seekers to a Job Fair scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St. Early entrance is available to veterans and individuals with disabilities at 1:30 p.m.
The Job Fair is an ideal time to speak to and recruit college students, graduates and community members for job openings. There is no cost to participate.
In the past, manufacturing/production, government (local and state agencies), transportation, home health care/assisted living, gaming/hospitality, education, sales, publishing, insurance, food service have participated.
Students are preparing for the Job Fair through a workshop provided by Career Connect from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 9 in Cedar Building 109.
