Carson City Sheriff’s Office seeks identity of storage unit burglary suspects
The Carson City Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying two storage unit burglary suspects who jumped the fence of a storage unit, cut the locks of multiple storage lockers and stole items inside.
On the evening of Jan. 25, 2024 at around 6 p.m., one male jumped the main fence of I-Storage at 1179 Fairview Drive in Carson City and opened the walkthrough gate, allowing another male to enter. Both males walked around the complex and cut the locks of several storage units. The suspects entered the units and took items from inside. Both males later walked out of the complex.
Both suspects appeared relatively tall and slender. One suspect was wearing dark colored shoes and pants, a light-colored shirt, dark colored beanie, and had facial hair, possibly a goatee.
He was also wearing a watch on his left wrist. The other suspect was wearing dark colored shoes, light colored pants and a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head. Both suspects were wearing backpacks.
