UPDATED: Lyon County Sheriff's Office asks for public's help locating missing Dayton woman, last seen in Smith Valley
UPDATE FEB. 24: Deon Kincade was reported missing on 02/22/2023. She was last seen on 02/20/2023 at approximately 1220 pm and left her Dayton residence to run errands.
At present we have a witness that positively identified her in the area of Artesia Road in the Smith Valley area.
Search and Rescue Teams from both Lyon County and Douglas County checked the area and were not able to locate her.
Air assets will attempt to search the area if weather permits on 02/24/2023.
She was last seen wearing a pink and gray sweater and blue jeans and tan, lace-up boots.
She left the Dayton area in a 1998 Jeep Wrangler 2 door, blue and gray in color with Nevada license plate: 963G55. She possibly drove to Carson City with a return trip through Topaz Ranch Estates via State Route 208.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing and endangered Dayton woman who was last seen Monday.
Deon Kincade-Hodson, 64, was reported missing from the Dayton area and could be in the Mason Pass, Smith Valley area, according to LCSO. There has been no contact from her since around noon Monday, Feb. 20, 2023.
She was last seen wearing a pink and gray sweater and blue jeans and tan, lace-up boots.
She left the Dayton area in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, blue and gray in color with Nevada license plate: 963G55. There are two, faded stickers on the back window that show a raised middle finger.
She is a white female approximately 5'2" and 105 pounds with short blonde hair.
Lyon County Search and Rescue is currently in the process of developing a team to search for Deon.
