Nevada Commission for Women to hold celebratory luncheon on 100 year anniversary of women's vote
Join the Nevada Commission for Women on Feb. 7 to honor women’s suffrage.
February 7, 2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of Nevada's Vote to Ratify the 19th Amendment, which allowed some (but not all) women to vote, but nonetheless began the process for voting equality.
A celebration will be held marking the occasion, with a luncheon to be held at the Nevada State Library Atrium, located at 100 N. Stewart Street.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and costs $30 per person.
It is limited to 100 people, so be sure to purchase your ticket now!
