Reports of red hoodie suspect luring children and jiggling door handles in Dayton, Carson City
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office received a report on 01/17/19 of a male subject trying to get a juvenile into his vehicle in the Sutro area of the Dayton Valley.
The male was described as caucasian, in the age range of 20s to 30s, wearing a jean styled jacket and a red shirt. The vehicle was an older model van, boxy in shape and described as originally being white in color, but had been spray painted either black or dark green.
Last night in the Sutro area, there were several reports of someone knocking on doors and jiggling door handles.
The subject was described as a heavyset caucasian wearing black pants and a red hoodie. It was also reported that the vehicle he was driving was a dark colored SUV (possibly an Isuzu Rodeo, but this has not been confirmed yet).
Similar reports have also occurred in Carson City overnight, too.
