Carson City sheriff's detectives seek man for questioning in stabbing, road rage incident

The Carson City Sheriff's Office Investigations Division is asking for the public's help identifying a man sought for questioning in a battery with a deadly weapon and road rage incident where the victim was stabbed in the hand and punched.
The incident happened Dec. 30 at around 8:26 p.m. and started on Fairview Drive. The man sought for questioning was driving a black Subaru sedan and was trying to pass vehicles and was tailgating, said CCSO Detective Sam Hatley. When the victim driver turned north onto Carson Street, the driver of the Subaru stopped his vehicle in front of the victim's vehicle and charged the victim driver.

The victim received lacerations to the hand from a knife and was also punched. The man driving the Subaru sought for questioning drove away. He is described as a white male with a vest, orange or tan.
