Apple picking in Washoe Valley at Franktown Apples sells out, will return next year
UPDATE: Organizers say due to an overwhelming response, the apple picking has finished as there are no more apples to sell. Organizers say they will bring the picking back next year.
Franktown Apples, also known as Apple Basket U-Pick Apple Orchard, will be open every day 9 a.m. to 5 p.m from Sat., Sept 19 through Oct. 19 or until apples are gone.
Franktown Apples is located at 7425 Franktown Road in Washoe Valley.
We have four varieties: Braeburn, Cameo, Gala, and Golden Delicious. There are no pesticides ever!
We have a picnic tables, play area, gift shop with local honey, and plenty of room to social distance.
We provide bags or you can bring your own. Lots of fun for the entire family! We look forward to seeing you!
