Artwork by Dayton artist Diana Uzzell to be featured at the Reno Tahoe International Art Show
What is the purpose of art? Dayton artist Diana Uzzell, whose work will appear this weekend at the Reno Tahoe International Art Show, writes the following:
"I think the purpose of art is to initiate conversation, be it good or bad. Art should evoke emotion, be it good or bad. Art is appreciated and hated. It is mocked and loved simultaneously. Art can inspire and destroy. Depending on the viewer, art can be everything or nothing."
