Help Sound the Alarm in Gardnerville this Saturday
The American Red Cross of Northern Nevada is seeking volunteers to assist with the installation of smoke alarms in Gardnerville area homes on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The alarms will be installed in homes that have signed-up to receive a free smoke alarm as part of the Sound the Alarm campaign. Volunteers will work in teams to install the alarms.

The American Red Cross of Northern Nevada has teamed-up with fire departments and local partners to help promote home fire safety through the Sound the Alarm campaign, a nationwide effort by the Red Cross to install 100,000 free smoke alarms nationwide between April 28 and May 13.
Local sponsors include: Caesars Entertainment, the Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation, ABC Fire and Cylinder Services, US Bank, and Window Inserts.
