Build-A-Plane Project Sierra Chapter EAA 403
Sierra Chapter 403 Experimental Aircraft Association will host a Build-A-Plane project for students interested in aviation. The program is in conjunction with the chapter's Young Eagle program which promotes aviation through volunteer introductory flights for children ages 8-17.
An introduction to the Build-A-Plane program will be held at the EAA Chapter House located at 2600 East College Parkway, west of the Carson City Airport Terminal Building on April 9 at 10 am directly following the chapter's Young Eagle flights. Larry Crapo, EAA 403 Build-A-Plane Coordinator, will be presenting a plan and conducting hanger and build tours. All students interested in aircraft building and mechanics are encouraged to attend. The program will focus on building a Zenith 601 XL kit plane. The current build days will be the second Saturday of every month directly after Young Eagle Flights and the fourth Saturday of the month at 9am.
This is a free program sponsored by EAA 403 and generous community donations. To register please visit the eaa403.org or http://www.eventbrite.com/e/sierra-chapter-403-experimental-aircraft-ass...
