Strong winds topple trees, snap branches around Carson City
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Sun, 12/26/2021 - 5:03pmDamaging winds knocked down a large pine tree on West Washington Street in Carson City on Sunday afternoon, smashing a truck and narrowly missing the home, said Carson Now reader Mike Pauley.
No one was injured. The tree came down around 12:40 p.m. causing major damage to Pauley's truck and some damage around the garage's eves and gutter.
