One of the top shopping days of the year is Cyber Monday, which falls three days after Black Friday every year. Traditionally, these sales would pop up for the day or weekend before; however this year, online holiday sales started as early as Halloween and will continue throughout the holiday season.
Unvaccinated Nevada state workers could face monthly surcharges

State employees who remain unvaccinated against COVID-19 may soon be required to pay up to $55 in monthly insurance surcharges to help recoup testing costs, meaning Nevada could be the first state to adopt such a policy for its state-employed workforce.

Arizona Man wanted on over 40 sex crime charges arrested in South Lake Tahoe

Members of the U.S. Marshals Office traced an Arizona man to South Lake Tahoe after he left the state prior to a court appearance on over 40 counts of sex crimes.

The band, under the direction of Nick Jacques, will present a variety of Christmas music from the lighter side of the holidays with “Poor Express” and “Sleigh Ride” to the more traditional carols, including, “Midnight In Bethlehem”.

The historic Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City, Nevada, hosts “A Comstock Christmas Carol” this holiday season. The classic story with a Comstock twist is set to be performed by the Piper’s Players with performances in December.
The family-friendly play features the story of the Christmas Carol and is set to the fun and light-hearted music of the Muppets Christmas Carol.

Since 1989 lucky turkeys have had their necks ceremoniously saved each Thanksgiving by presidential pardon.
Modern-day presidents generally take the credit for this feel-good symbolism; but the real hero for these fortunate gobblers is a little boy named Thomas, whose influence over his father resulted in what would later become a national tradition.
