Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called late Saturday morning to a single vehicle that crashed and flipped in the area of Fifth Street and Allouette Way.
The crash, in which the vehicle hit a utility hydrant and pole and flipped on its side, happened at around 11:10 a.m. At least one injury was reported. The patient was taken by ground ambulance to the hospital.
Traffic is being re-directed around the area of the crash. Motorists should avoid the area.
The cause is under investigation.
