Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of May 17-23, 2021. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Snyder Avenue in the westbound direction will be closed between Carson Street and Oak Street, Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for underground utility installation. Eastbound traffic will be allowed, but westbound traffic will be detoured to Clearview Drive.
Willow Street will be closed between Snyder Avenue and Oak Street Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for ongoing underground utility installation.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Curry Street between Lake Glen Drive and 10th Street will be reduced to one-lane with flagger controls, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for the start of a waterline extension project. Please use caution in the area and expect short delays.
— Little Lane will be closed in the westbound direction, Monday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for construction of a development project. Eastbound traffic will remain open.
— Saliman Road will have lane closures and lane shifts in both directions between 5th Street and Fairview Drive, Thursday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility installation associated with new development and new roadway improvements.
