A 53-year-old Carson City man was convicted of forcible lewd acts on a child under the age of fourteen in a trial which took place in Napa County, Calif. after a three-day trial.
Roy Linn Tidwell was arrested in Carson City by Special Enforcement Team deputies in October of 2018 on a $250,000 warrant out of Napa County in 2018 on allegations of sexually assaulting a child.
According to testimony, on the evening of Nov. 15, 2007 Tidwell forced himself on a 7-year-old child while he was in his mid-40s.
The survivor, now a teenager, testified against Tidwell, and the jury convicted him of the offense after the three-day trial.
