Einstein Bros. Bagels has been quietly revamping the old Jimmy John’s location near Raley’s for the past several months, and it is now officially opening its doors to their first Carson City location at 3849 S. Carson St..
The restaurant is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and serves the chain’s selection of bagels, cream cheese spreads, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and other menu items.
The Carson City bakery features Einstein Bros. Bagels’ newer “Elevate the Morning” store design, according to a spokesperson, which includes “a prominent bagel display, updated interior design and a designated area for mobile-order pickups.”
To mark the opening, the company is offering customers a free egg sandwich with any in-store purchase for a limited time when they mention promotional code 9080 at checkout.
The Carson City opening comes alongside another new Einstein Bros. Bagels location at 1650 Robb Drive, Suite B1, in northwest Reno. The two new bakeries join two existing locations in the Reno-Sparks area.
The Carson City and northwest Reno locations are expected to create about 30 jobs combined.
“We’ve seen firsthand the way Reno has welcomed Einstein Bros. Bagels, and opening two more bakeries to join our existing two locations is our way of continuing to invest in a community that has made us part of its daily rhythm,” Chief Operating Officer Adam Modzel said in a statement.
The openings are part of a larger expansion by Einstein Bros. Bagels, which plans to add more than 300 locations by 2030 and surpass 1,000 stores nationwide.
Einstein Bros. Bagels currently has more than 700 locations across the country. The company is part of Panera Brands, which also includes Panera Bread and Caribou Coffee.
