A man was arrested Saturday for a felony warrant alleging lewdness by a person over 18 with a child less than 14 and two alleged misdemeanor offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
Following an investigation, CCSO deputies arrested Skylar Jeffery Warner for the alleged crimes following a traffic stop where he was a passenger. He was also booked for possession of marijuana (he is under the age of 21) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the booking report, a deputy with the sheriff’s office Special Enforcement Team was stopped at a stoplight at Winnie and North Carson Street and observed a Ram truck making a left turn from Winnie Lane onto North Carson. The officer was aware that the man had a confirmed warrant issued by Carson City Justice Court dated Feb. 19, 2026 with a $100,000 bail.
The officer followed the vehicle as it continued north on Carson Street. The vehicle pulled into a motel parking lot and parked. The deputy observed a female exit the vehicle. The deputy watched the vehicle for a moment before approaching it on foot. The female got back into the vehicle and the vehicle turned on, the report states.
The deputy approached the driver’s side and noticed the vehicle was occupied by three females and a male sitting in the front right passenger seat. The male was attempting to conceal his face with a sweater, however the deputy had dealt with the man multiple times in the past and was aware that he was the front right passenger in the vehicle, the report states.
The deputy asked the driver to hand them the key. The officer had the suspect exit the vehicle and confirmed it was the man. The deputy noticed that when he opened the door there was a faint smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer also saw what appeared to be a marijuana electronic cigarette fall from the man. The officer confirmed all females in the vehicle were under 21, including the suspect.
All occupants were requested to exit the vehicle. The deputy conducted a search of the vehicle and found a glass container with a marijuana stem, a plastic container with multiple marijuana joints, a pink marijuana electronic cigarette (20.49 grams).
All of these items were found in the glove box compartment where the suspect was sitting. The officer read the man his Miranda rights and he agreed to speak. He took ownership of the found items. They were collected and booked into evidence. All other subjects were released. Bail: $100,000.

— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested March 12 for multiple felony drug offenses, including three counts possession of controlled substance for sale.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested Ben’Trail Marbley. He was booked for possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, molly or MDMA (methylenedioxymethampetamine) and mushrooms, possession of drug paraphernalia and three contempt of court warrants issued March 5, 2026 out of Carson City Justice Court.
According to the booking report a Carson City Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team deputy was in the area of Woodside Drive at around 9 p.m. and observed a vehicle approaching a stop side with its tires rolling through the stop, coming to a stop after the white line. The deputy followed the vehicle, made a vehicle traffic stop and approached the passenger side. The deputy made contact with the driver and informed them for the reason for the stop. The deputy asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, where he cooperated.
A detective had the right front passenger, Ben’ Trail Marbley, exit the vehicle. A deputy began checking for outstanding warrants and worked on a citation for the driver. The officer asked him if he would consent to a search of his vehicle. The driver stated yes. The deputy asked passenger Marbley if the bag inside the vehicle was his. Marbley said yes. A deputy asked if he would consent to search the bag and he said no. The deputy requested another detective to get Marbley’s information and he cooperated. The deputy further check Marbley for wants and warrants. A K9 did an exterior sniff of the vehicle, which provided a positive alert, the report states.
The driver returned clear with a valid license. Marbley’s returned with confirmed warrants. Marbley was placed in handcuffs. A detective conducted a search of Marbley’s bag and founding a clear plastic bag containing a purple substance, 84 grams of molly (methylenedioxymethampetamine), a Superman plastic container containing a light purple substance with 3.66 grams. A detective searched the man’s sweater and found the following: A Superman emblem plastic bag containing 3.84 grams of cocaine. A clear plastic bag containing 1.21 grams of cocaine.
The deputy read the man his Miranda warning and he agreed to speak. A detective showed Marbley the bag of suspected narcotics contains a purple substance and asked what it was. The suspect stated it was molly (methylenedioxymethampetamine), the report states.
The deputy noticed Marbley began sweating. He was taken to the hospital for medical clearance.
Once at the hospital the deputy asked him how he got into drugs. He stated he got into it after being involved in the party scene. He stated he has insomnia and doesn’t feel good. He said he plays video games and uses cocaine to make himself feel better. The deputy asked if he sells drugs. The suspect denied it despite saying “I use more than I sell,” the report states. He was informed that detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for his apartment and was asked if any other illegal drugs were in his apartment.
The suspect stated he had psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, cocaine and molly, the report states.
SET detectives conducted a search of the man’s apartment and located 9.66 grams of methamphetamine, 31.52 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 82.59 grams of cocaine and 6.71 grams of molly or MDMA.
Also found were miscellaneous baggies, pipes and a scale. In addition, detectives located a piece of paper tracking his finances. On the piece of paper he wrote “1 zip per month,” the report states. A “zip” commonly refers to 28 grams of cocaine. Also written on the paper were the figures: Cost: 1000, revenue 3300, profit 2300. Based on the deputy’s training and experience, the amount of cocaine, molly, psychedelic mushrooms, along with the scale and baggies and the piece of paper with the cost and profit he is making from a “zip” are indicators consistent with not only drug use but also with drug sales, the report states. Bail: $10,000.
— A 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday for two outside agencies misdemeanor warrants issued Feb. 5, 2026 out of Washoe County and Feb. 12, 2026 out of Douglas County. The man was arrested following a traffic violation on East William and Rand. Bail; $5,000.
— A 47-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday in the 3000 block of North Roop for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $2,500.
— A 47-year-old man, Steven Ray Queen, was arrested Friday for felony warrants, using another person’s ID to avoid prosecution, possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
According to the booking report, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle registration which returned suspended. As the deputy approached the vehicle, the passenger immediately stepped out. The officer instructed the passenger twice to return inside the vehicle, which he did.
The deputy made contact with the driver who stated he knew his license was suspended and provided the deputy with his driver’s license and proof of insurance. As the deputy spoke with the passenger, he seemed nervous and anxious. The passenger stated he didn’t have an ID and so the deputy collected their name, birthday and Social Security number, the report states.
A detective with a K9 advised of a positive alert, giving probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search, a deputy discovered a methamphetamine shard under the passenger seat, which tested positive. The deputy placed the passenger in handcuffs. He was read his Miranda rights and agreed to speak. The passenger began to cry and stated the rock was not his. As deputies continued a search of the passenger’s person, the deputy located a purple container with a white powder substance and an additional container with a crystalline substance in his front pockets. Also located in his pocket was foil and a tooter straw, which is commonly used to ingest narcotics. The passenger stated that the containers had fentanyl and methamphetamine, the report states.
Due to the passenger’s use of fentanyl, he was taken to the hospital for medical clearance. While at the hospital he stated he had not been truthful. When the deputy asked why the man stated he gave the deputy someone else’s name and information and stated that he had given his brother-in-law’s birthday and Social Security number. He also said he real name was Steven Queen and gave his birthday and provided his Social Security number. He said he lied because he knew he had multiple warrants from parole and probation and did not want to get into trouble, the report states. Dispatch did a records check and advised the man had warrants for grand larceny as well as a parole and probation warrant for parole violation.
He was booked into jail. No bail hold in lieu of hearing.
— A 55-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday for suspicion of DUI. According to the booking report, deputies responded at 10:35 p.m. for a report of a driver in a sedan driving erratically, nearly crashing into a fence and other vehicles.
The reporting party advised the vehicle parked behind a maroon Jeep and the driver was still in the vehicle. A deputy arrived on scene and located the suspect vehicle parked in the area the reporting party described. A deputy on scene spoke with the driver who appeared to be highly intoxicated, the report states.
While speaking the deputy could smell an odor of alcohol emanating from her person. She also displayed slurred speech and had red, watery eyes, the report states. While speaking with the deputy the driver was unable to form a coherent sentence and couldn’t answer basic questions.
The deputy asked the woman if she would perform field sobriety tests. She mumbled out loud what appeared to be yes however when she was asked to stand up and out of the vehicle, she couldn’t safely stand on her own and swayed heavily.
The deputy attempted to conduct a horizontal gaze nystagmus test on the woman while she was seated in the driver seat, however was unsuccessful. The deputy asked if she would provide a preliminary breath test. She stated yes and provided a partial preliminary sample of .213. Based on the observations on-scene and witness statements, she was placed under arrest.
She was read the request for voluntary evidence and appeared to not understand what was read to her. The deputy repeated and read the request slower and explained the request in basic terms. She was impaired to consent to voluntary evidence, the report states.
The deputy applied for a telephonic warrant for seizure of blood evidence. The warrant was approved by a Carson City judge. After she was taken to the hospital for the blood evidence, she was booked into Carson City jail. Bail; $1,137.
— An 18-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI drugs, possession of marijuana under 21 years of age and headlamps required.
According to the booking report, at around 11:33 p.m. a deputy was traveling north on North Carson near the intersection of 4th Street and observed a pickup traveling south on North Carson with only one head light on. The right headlight was functioning while the left front light was not activated.
Due to this, the deputy decided to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle for the headlight offense. The deputy followed the vehicle and activated their emergency lights and made a traffic stop. The vehicle pulled into a parking lot under an awning. The deputy approached the vehicle and observed three male subjects inside the vehicle. The deputy immediately smelled the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. The driver made contact with the driver who identified himself by his driver’s license. He was 18 years old.
The deputy noticed he had liquid spots all over his gray sweater. When asked about it, the driver stated one of his friends had spilled beer on him earlier. The deputy observed the driver to have red, watery eyes and could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. The deputy asked him if he had anything to drink tonight. The driver said he had one beer earlier in the night. Based on the information, the deputy decide to investigate the driver for driving under the influence.
The man stepped out of the vehicle and walked to deputy. He was asked how much he had to drink. He stated he had one beer at an apartment with his friends. The deputy asked him if he would participate in field sobriety tests. The driver consented.
He was read a questionnaire, where he stated what time he thought it was and was asked if he had used any controlled substance, marijuana or other dangerous drugs. He stated he had smoked marijuana earlier and produced a marijuana vape pen out of his pocket and handed it to the deputy. The deputy could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the pen, which had yellow liquid inside.
The first test was the horizontal gaze test, which he showed clues of impairment. The next test was the walk and turn test. During the test he stepped off the line to maintain his balance. He then stepped off the line again and missed heel to toe, completing nine steps. While turning he failed to take multiple steps with his back foot to turn around. He made a pivot motion and started walking back. On this series of steps, he missed several heel-to-toe steps and stepped off the line. The officer observed clues of impairment. During the one leg stand the driver raised his arms and hopped on his right foot to maintain balance. The officer observed clues of impairment.
At this time the officer observed the man was too impaired to drive. He provided a preliminary breath test of .41. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI drugs. He consented to a blood draw. Bail: $1,137.
— A Carson City man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor battery, according to a CCSO booking report. Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of North Stewart Street for a fight call. Dispatched advised the people had been drinking and fighting. A deputy arrived and met with a male who said he was hit by the suspect. He had a laceration on his right hand, redness on both sides of his face and a laceration on his left toe. The deputy asked where the suspect was and the man pointed to a unit. The deputy heard the suspect outside the window and was told to exit. The suspect exited the apartment and put his hands behind his back and said he was going to jail anyway, the report states.
CCFD medics arrived and began to evaluate the injured person. Deputies met with a female who said she and the male were asleep in bed when they heard knocking on the door. When they checked, the suspect was outside yelling and throwing their patio furniture. She said male exited the apartment and spoke with the suspect and they began arguing. The male told the suspect to go home and when the suspect began walking, the male followed him off his property.
The male continued to follow the suspect to make sure he entered his apartment. She said the suspect then hit the male on his face and continued to walk to his apartment. The male lost his balance and fell into the suspect’s apartment window, causing it to break. She said the suspect then hit the male a second time, causing him to step back and hit his head on the back of a metal pole. She said the suspect then entered his apartment and that is when law enforcement arrived.
The deputy met with a witness who said he heard yelling and saw the male telling the suspect to go back to his apartment and saw the suspect take his shirt off and get into a fighting stance. The witness said the suspect continued to walk to his apartment and the male followed him when the suspect then hit the male on his head and continued to walk.
Deputies spoke with the suspect and read his his Miranda rights. He advised he understood them and said that he walked over to the the male’s apartment to confront him over rumors he had heard that the male was talking badly about him. The suspect said that he aggressively knocked on the door and started a confrontation. He said he began walking back to his apartment and the male followed. He said he took off his shirt because the male was following him. She said that he hit him because the male was following him. The deputy asked him how many times he hit the male. He did not answer and stopped answering questions. The deputy terminated the interview. He was arrested and taken to jail. Bail: $1,137.
— A 20-year-old Carson City man, Seth Warner, was arrested Saturday for a felony parole and probation violation warrant. No bail hold in lieu of hearing.
— A 65-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of DUI and driving without a valid driver’s license.
According to the booking report, deputies were called to a two car accident involving a single driver where the suspect was operating a van and crashed into a parked car.
The deputy contacted the driver who had initially told a bystander that he had consumed a couple drinks. The witness said they could smell an odor of alcohol on the man. All subjects on scene completed witness statement forms.
The suspect told deputies he had not consumed any alcohol that night. He had red, watery eyes, disheveled clothing and his pants were falling down. He was unable to walk in a straight line. The officer could smell alcohol coming from his breath. During field sobriety tests the man showed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. Bail: $1,137.
— A 29-year-old man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of DUI. According to the booking report, a deputy was assigned to the Special Enforcement Team and responded to the area of College Parkway to assist in locating a possible DUI driver at around 5 p.m. Deputies were advised of a Jeep that was reportedly swerving out of its travel lane and was last seen traveling eastbound on College Parkway. At 5:08 p.m. the deputy observed the suspect vehicle traveling east on College Parkway approaching Goni Road. As the deputy got close to the Jeep they observed it traveling in the number two lane. The vehicle drifted to the right, causing both passenger side tires to cross over into the bike lane, the report states.
The deputy conducted a traffic stop at College Parkway and North Lompa. The vehicle slowed and continued eastbound coming to a complete stop at College Parkway and Airport Road. The deputy approached the driver’s side door and made contact with the driver. During the contact, the man was unable to maintain balance during the field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment on the tests. He agreed to a preliminary breath test with a result of .180. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI. At jail he agreed to an evidentiary breath test. He provided tests samples of .167 and .159. Bail: $1,137.
— A 38-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
According to the booking report, a Carson City deputy with the Special Enforcement team was patrolling the 5600 block of South Carson Street and heard what sounded like a vehicle hitting something near Spooner Junction. The deputy approached the area with their lights and sirens activated, located a vehicle and the driver stopped. The deputy spoke with the driver who identified himself.
The man apologized for driving the wrong way and stated he was trying to go home. The deputy asked if he had been drinking. He said no and agreed to standardized field sobriety tests.
The man exited the vehicle, was patted for weapons and asked if he would allow the deputy to search his pockets. The man said yes. In his front coin pocket the deputy found a small plastic bag containing nine purple/pink pills. He stated the pills did not belong to him.
The deputy suspected the pills to be MDMA, due to the bright colors and the pills deteriorating into powder. The man said he was in Virginia City celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. He said he had two IPA beers seven hours prior.
He agreed to standardized field sobriety tests. His eyes were dilated, which could be a sign of drug use, the deputy noted in the report. During the walk and turn tests he was unable to stay balanced and unable to stand heel to toe during the instruction phase. He showed multiple clues of impairment and clues on the one-leg stand test. He provided a preliminary breath test of .000.
Based on his driving pattern and his performance on the field sobriety tests, the deputy believed him to be under the influence of a drug and unable to safely operate a vehicle. He was arrested. He was asked if he would provide a sample of blood. The man said something about the 5th and was asked again if he would provide a sample of blood.
The man said yes. He was taken to the hospital for an evidentiary blood sample. During an inventory of the vehicle, a deputy located two aerosol containers. The deputy notes the containers, which were booked into evidence, can be used as a stimulant if inhaled. Bail: $2,500.
