Back in early January, we introduced you to Boxer and Tiger, a charming brother-and-sister duo hoping to start the New Year in a new home. Well… here we are a couple months later, and these two are still patiently waiting. Since they are such wonderful cats, we figured they deserved another turn in the spotlight.

Boxer and Tiger are the final two siblings from a very large family of 24 tabby cats who came into our care when their owner became overwhelmed by the growing feline household. One by one, all their brothers and sisters found homes. These two sweethearts are the last of the bunch still waiting for their happily-ever-after.

At about 1½ years old, they are beautiful short-haired brown tabbies and nearly identical at first glance. The easiest way to tell them apart is that Boxer, the gentleman of the pair, is a bit bigger than his sister Tiger. These two share a very special bond and are usually found together, whether they’re lounging side by side or plotting their next round of playtime. They took a little longer than their siblings to feel comfortable in a new environment, which is likely why they are still here. But once they settled in, their personalities truly blossomed. They are friendly, playful, social, and incredibly affectionate cats who enjoy attention from their people just as much as they enjoy each other’s company.

Boxer is neutered and Tiger is spayed, and both are up to date on vaccines and microchipped—completely ready to pack their little imaginary suitcases and head home. They do well with other cats and would likely be fine with respectful, school-aged children and up. While they haven’t lived with dogs, a calm and cat-friendly canine might also be acceptable. The only “catch,” if you can call it that, is that Boxer and Tiger come as a package deal. They’re a bonded pair and need to stay together. The upside? Twice the purrs, twice the entertainment, and twice the love.

Somewhere out there is the perfect home that has room for two wonderful tabbies who have already proven they are loyal companions—to each other and to the humans lucky enough to love them. Maybe this time around, their person will see them and think, “Yes, those are my cats.”
