The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) recently moved its DMV Now kiosk outside the Carson City office. The kiosk is now available to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“We are very excited about the 24/7 availability of this kiosk,” said Director Tonya Laney. “Customers are no longer limited to regular business hours to complete certain DMV services. The outdoor location allows for convenient, around-the-clock evening weekday and weekend access.”

The previous kiosk located inside the Carson City office lobby, 555 Wright Way, has been deactivated and removed. All kiosk services at this location are now available at the outdoor unit.

“Our DMV Now kiosks are truly great for those that need quick services,” added Laney. “Whether you need to reinstate or renew your registration or print your driver history, make utilizing a kiosk your first priority for the quickest and most streamlined process.”

The FMCSA clarified that states are not required to revoke properly issued credentials under prior rules. Existing credentials will remain valid until expiration, unless federal updates require a downgrade.
