A 21-year-old Dayton man was arrested Tuesday for a felony warrant alleging sexual assault, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office booking report.
The arrest warrant for William John Riegle, was issued Dec. 29, 2025 out of Carson City Justice Court.
According to the booking report, at 9:25 p.m. Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 8900 block of Highway 50 East in Lyon County to assist the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office with the warrant. They had arrested Riegle on the Carson City warrant alleging sexual assault. Bail: $100,000.
In other arrests:
— A 23-year-old man, Ronald Escobar-Petz, was booked for two felony warrants alleging grand larceny of a motor vehicle and burglary of a business. The warrants were issued Dec. 30, 2024. Bail: $40,000.
