A small fire located on a desk at a Boeing Way commercial building was extinguished Monday morning by the Carson City Fire Department.
At 4:55 a.m. Carson City Fire Department was called to a commercial building at 1980 Boeing Way. Firefighters arrived and saw light smoke coming from the building, said Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Micah Horton. Employees who were also arriving, unlocked the door.
Firefighters made entry and located a small fire located on a desk with material burning. The fire was extinguished quickly. The cause has not been determined and is being investigated, said Horton. Firefighters cleared smoke out of the building and it was reopened.
