Smoky skies did little to deter youth BMX racers from taking to the dirt racing track located at Pete Livermore Sports Complex off South Edmunds Drive in Carson City.

BMX racing occurs every Sunday morning around 10 a.m. and runs until about 11 at 1555 Livermore Lane, weather and track conditions permitting.

Sign-ups begin at 9 a.m. Sundays at a cost of $10 per racer, who must also be a USA BMX member. One-day trial memberships and new rider kits are available at the race track.
