Carson City Fire Department was also called to the scene. As a deputy arrived, paramedics were talking to the female driver. A short time later, the vehicle drove off before the deputy could make contact with the driver, the report states.

The deputy stopped and talked with fire department personnel who stated the woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and stated she did not need any assistance, according to the report.

Two “Dust-Off” cans were located on the ground. A deputy went over and touched both cans and noticed they were each extremely cold to the touch, the report states.

The arresting deputy arrived at the vehicle moments later and approached the driver and could see the woman’s sweatshirt was covered in vomit on the front and there was another Dust-Off can on the driver’s side floorboard near the woman’s feet.

The deputy explained to her that she was detained and that they wanted to ask her questions. She said she understood her rights and was willing to answer questions, the report states.

The deputy asked the woman to explain why she had “Dust-Off” can near her vehicle, in her vehicle and in her hand when deputies contacted her.
