Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Oct. 13-19, 2025. Closures and lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work. Also see link to view a map of the upcoming road closures and lane restrictions this week around Carson City.
Access to Mills Park from the Oxoby Loop will be closed at William Street, from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Access to William Street from Carson Street will be closed intermittently Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Stewart Street will be closed at William Street from Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Ann Street between Carson Street and Plaza Street will be closed on Friday, from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm for the Children’s Museum’s Trunk or Treat.
Multi-Use Path between Airport Road and Lompa Lane will be closed from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Park Street between Curry Street and Carson Street will be closed from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Stewart Street will be closed at William Street from Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Stewart Street will be closed to Westbound traffic from Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Parkland Avenue and Carson Meadow Drive will be reduced to a single lane from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
7th Street between Plaza Street and Stewart Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Carson Street between Washington Street and Adams Street will have lane restrictions from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
City wide roadway striping will be taking place from Monday through Thursday nightly, 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please use caution when approaching work vehicles and personnel.
The following locations will have asphalt patching on Monday, and drivers should expect some delays:

College Parkway near the intersection of Otha Street will have reduced lanes, both directions, from October 6, 2025, to October 24, 2025, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
I-580 between North Carson Street, exit 8, and South Eastlake Boulevard, exit 10, will have lane restrictions in both directions from Wednesday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Drivers should anticipate substantial travel delays and should leave with additional travel time.
Northridge Drive between Southridge Road and Spooner Drive will have shoulder and sidewalk closures from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Plaza Street between 5th Street and 7th Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Roop Street between Washington Street and John Street will have lane restrictions and shifts from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Stewart Street between 5th Street and 8th Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
William Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
