Here is the Carson City road report for the week of Sept. 15-21, 2025. Closures and lane reductions are expected at the following locations due to road utility work. Also check out the city’s map here for lane restrictions and closures.
Access to Mills Park from the Oxoby Loop will be closed at William Street, from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Access to Plaza Street from William Street will be closed Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Access to southbound Roop Street from William Street will be closed Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Access to State Street from William Street will be closed Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Center Drive between Clearview Drive and Alder Street will be closed Monday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Otha Street between Nye Lane and College Parkway will be closed to through traffic from September 2, 2025, to September 16, 2025, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Roop Street between John Street and Washington Street will be closed on Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Citywide roadway striping will be taking place from Monday through Thursday nightly, 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please use caution when approaching work vehicles and personnel.
Citywide lane restrictions will be taking place from Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm for South West Gas valve maintenance. Please use caution when approaching work vehicles and personnel.
Boeing Way near Goni Road will be reduced to a single lane from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Roop Street between Washington Street and John Street will have lane restrictions and shifts from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Stewart Street between King Street and 5th Street will have lane restrictions from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Stewart Street between John Street and Washington Street will have lane restrictions from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
William Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
