Currently in the “soft opening” mode, Seven Grille brings contemporary dining to downtown allowing us another dining choice.
Located just inside the Max Casino, you need not walk through the casino to begin your dining experience. Gone is the Black Bear Diner and all the woodsie features.
The new decor is contemporary and light. All new booths, and plenty of them. Upscale, but not overly as to make you feel uncomfortable or not dressed up enough. The carpet alone is worth seeing and was especially created to look like wood. The bar area is not yet open, but will be soon.

Open currently between 7 a.m. 2 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. When the sports bar is complete, expect to see dinner service.
The food is well presented on large plates. The flatware is not indicative of most restaurants and truly high end. It was a surprise to unwrap the napkin and see quality flatware perfectly matching the contemporary plates.
Food was fresh and tasty – and oh, those french fries! served in their own “silver” cup! Service was excellent from the check in to the check out. Our waiter, Abraham, knew how to wait! Never felt rushed. Pricing is in line with most local eateries.
Do try this Seven Grille before there are lines. See you there!
The Max Casino is located at 900 S Carson St in Carson City.
