In loving memory of Marjorie Eugenia Welch Farley, December 30, 1945 to April 28, 2025.

Marjorie was born and raised in the beautiful surroundings of Costa Rica, surrounded by her six aunts, three uncles, and over thirty cousins until she turned 19.

She then traveled to the United States to reunite with her parents. Shortly after arriving, she found love, got married, and welcomed three wonderful children into her life, who in turn blessed her with eight grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ramona (Rodney) Farley and Stephanie (Michael) Baxter, and her son, Arthur (Ciara) Farley. Her grandsons include Brandon (Cailey) and Garrett (Brandilyn) Baxter, Ryan, Reese (Champrece), and Riley Schroeter, as well as Ramsey, Rowan, and August Farley. Her great-grandchildren, Mia, Jaxson, Michael, Beau, Leyla, Ezra, and Brynn Baxter, carry on her legacy of love.

Marjorie dedicated nearly 30 years of her life working at Harrah’s Steakhouse, where she cherished the connections with her regular customers, sharing stories that wove together her family’s history with theirs.

Her love for her family was boundless, expressed through the delightful meals she prepared that nourished both the body and the soul.

Marjorie was always there to lend a helping hand, offer a healing touch, provide a shoulder to cry on or create a safe space for anyone to share their burdens.

Her absence will be deeply felt, yet everyone whose life she touched carries a precious memory of her, a testament to the beautiful moments she created with us all.

Marjorie’s final wish was to return to Costa Rica, and this December, on what would have been her 80th birthday, her ashes will be lovingly spread in her hometown, honoring the life she cherished.
