Teen dating violence will be the focus of a Carson City community parent engagement night discussion this Tuesday.
As part of its ongoing series of monthly parent meetings, Carson City Juvenile Services is partnering with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Carson City School District, Advocates to End Domestic Violence, Carson City Health and Human Services and Xquisite for the Tuesday, Feb. 25 discussion.
Experts from these agencies will share with the parents and community members the awareness around teen dating violence and what the community can do to combat this issue.
There will also be a focus on discussing the issues affecting our youth and providing information on recognizing teen dating violence.
The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, Bonanza Room, 851 E. William Street.
For more information about the event, contact Michelle Entz at 775-283-7640 or email mentz@carson.org.
