The Carson City Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who died in a structure that happened Friday at a home in the 1500 block of Rolling Hills Way.
The deceased woman has been identified as Sandra Denise Marshall, 75, who lived at the residence. Marshall was found within the structure when the fire was extinguished. Final autopsy findings are pending.
At 12:34 p.m., Carson City firefighters were called to the Rolling Hills Way home for the fire. Several emergency responders arrived on scene and extinguished the fire within minutes. Marshall was found and pronounced deceased in the home, according to Carson City Fire Department.
Two others were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the cause of the fire continues by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division and the CCFD Fire Investigator, Inspector.
