Janice Oberding, author of over 50 books, will be the featured speaker at Monday’s Democratic luncheon. A Reno resident, Oberding writes in a variety of genres: the paranormal, history, true crime, short stories and a western cozy murder series entitled A Virginia City Mystery.
Cozy mysteries involve amateur sleuths solving murders in a light-hearted way, in charming settings, with minimal violence or gore. Think mystery writer Jessica Fletcher in Murder, She Wrote.
This event is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, January 27th, and can either be attended in person at Carson City’s Black Bear Diner, inside Max Casino, or online via Zoom.
