The deputy made a traffic stop, where the vehicle continued driving for four city blocks before it came to a stop in the parking lot of 1000 South Nevada Street. The deputy spoke with the driver and could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle, the report states.

The deputy asked the man if he had anything to drink. The man said no. The officer asked the man for driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. The man said his license was in his apartment and began to exit the vehicle to go into his apartment.
