Statewide casino gaming revenue increased 7.76 percent in November, with gains made from Las Vegas to Lake Tahoe, according figures released Wednesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Meanwhile, Carson City area casino revenue fell nearly 2.6 percent compared to November 2014 figures.

Nevada casinos brought in a total “gaming win” of $944,265,845 in November, compared to $876,244,082 in November 2014.

Casinos at Stateline, Lake Tahoe saw a 17.26 percent increase in November gaming revenue, bringing in $14,192,970. Downtown Las Vegas saw the biggest increase, 25.24 percent, for the month.

Meanwhile, Carson City area casinos, which include those in Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except Lake Tahoe, saw gaming revenue decline 2.58 percent, with $7,751,133.
Carson City area casinos saw a 8.58 percent increase in October gaming revenue. Nevada Day festivities in the capital city likely translated to the increase.
