A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1500 block of Appaloosa Ct. for DUI first and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage after allegedly losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a fence.

According to the report, just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening dispatch advised that a vehicle heading eastbound on Fifth Street approached the Saliman intersection at a high rate of speed and made a left turn northbound onto N. Saliman, at which point the vehicle lost control from making the turn too fast and spun out on N. Saliman, crashing into a fence.

The male driver was seen exiting the vehicle with a bottle of alcohol in his hand and a bag with additional alcohol and quickly started walking across the street northbound on N. Saliman, “stumbling all over.”

Deputies searched the area and learned the man was connected with a residence on Appaloosa Ct. from prior calls, which was just a few blocks up the road.

Deputies learned that the man was inside the residence and made several loud announcements for him to come outside.

The man quickly exited the door from the back of the garage leading into the house holding a glass beer bottle in his right hand and yelled “what do you want to sit out here and yell like a mother f*****.”

Deputies stated that he came out from the house aggressively, as if ready to fight.

Deputies told him to sit down, which he did, but he kept getting up despite being told to sit. At one point, he stood up and took a key ring out of his pocket and threw them.

He told deputies they were violating his second amendment rights by being there.

Deputies read his Miranda rights, and he declined to speak with them further.

He was taken into custody. During transport, he had “outbursts of yelling and kicking.”

Bail: $2,274
