Nevada Promise Scholarship applicants have one final opportunity to meet the mandatory requirement of attending a financial aid meeting at Western Nevada College. If applicants haven’t attended one, they must do so on Thursday, Dec. 28; otherwise, they become ineligible to receive the scholarship to attend WNC free of tuition and fees next year.
More than 300 high school seniors are on track to receive the Nevada Promise Scholarship, but a large number of student applicants have not completed the requirement of attending a financial meeting.
To maintain scholarship eligibility, applicants who haven’t attended a prior meeting must attend one of two sessions offered on Dec. 28 in Cedar Building Room 100 on the Carson campus:
