Nevada State Railroad Museum announces the Virginia & Truckee Passenger-Smoker-Baggage Car No. 20 arrived at home in Carson City safe and sound on Thursday.

Normally, staff and volunteers would have shoved No. 20 into the annex with our small locomotive, the Dinky. However, our train crew was preparing No. 25 for this weekend’s Santa Train operations.
Staff thought it would make for a fantastic photo opportunity if No. 25 shoved 20 into the annex. After the crew of No. 25 finished preparing the locomotive, they coupled onto No. 20 and shoved back into the annex. It was the first time these two pieces of railroad equipment had been together since the 1940s. What an amazing sight!
