Clear Creek Bowmen is hosting its Holiday with a Hero 3-D Archery Shoot today, Dec. 1 at the Carson City Archery Range.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Shooting begins at 10 a.m. Come on out and help a great cause.
A $10 donation that will be accepted as a registration fee will go to Holiday with a Hero, an annual event where first responders are paired with underprivileged Carson City school children, giving them a Christmas shopping experience.
3-D archery shoot details:
— 15 to 20, 3-D targets, unmarked yardage
— 12-10-8 1st arrow, 6-5-4 if second arrow is needed
— Binoculars and range finders OK
The archery range is located on Centennial Dr, east of Eagle Valley Golf Course in Carson City. To get there take Highway 50 East past Deer Run Road and turn left on Centennial Drive near Storewise and drive north until the road ends. Turn right into the archery range and look for green building.
