A Stateline man was arrested Monday on felony suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly causing severe injuries to a woman during a domestic dispute, a Douglas County sheriff’s sergeant said.
Christopher Drake Rogers, 43, was arrested after deputies responded to a report of an injured woman on Tramway Drive in the upper Kingsbury area of Douglas County, said DCSO Sgt. Pat Brooks. His bail has been set at $50,000.
During the initial investigation it was determined the female was a victim of domestic violence and suffered severe injuries, said Brooks. The victim was taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time. This case remains under investigation.
