The Carson City Sheriff’s Office invites members of the Community Business Crime Prevention Coalition to our first in-house meeting and training this Tuesday, Nov. 18.

There will be presentations from the Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney’s Office on:

— Crime prevention during the holiday season
— Fraud prevention
— What to do if your business is a victim of a crime such as:

Collecting your information for a good police report

Requirements for documents and video

Getting ready for court

— Best ways to share information with the Sheriff’s Office
— How to be in the know about crime and fraud, as it relates to businesses in our area
— Q&A with Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office

The event will be held at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, 911 East Musser Street, in the Ormsby Room on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
