Carson City Supervisor Curtis Horton filed Monday for re-election.

Carson City Supervisor Curtis Horton has officially filed for re-election. Horton represents Ward 3 and was first elected to the Board in 2022.

A longtime Carson City resident, Horton dedicated 35 years to the cityโ€™s Public Works Department, retiring in 2020 as Deputy Public Works Director. Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, he says road repair and maintenance will remain his top priority if re-elected.

โ€œStreet repairs continue to be a major focus,โ€ Horton said. โ€œWe need innovative, forward-thinking solutions to make meaningful progress. Finding a revenue source that the community can support is critical. I have new ideas and am working with others on funding options.โ€ He adds,  โ€œIโ€™m committed to working diligently over the next several years to make significant strides in improving our roads.โ€

Horton welcomes questions from the public. He can be reached at Reelectcurtishorton@gmail.com.
