Carson City Supervisor Curtis Horton has officially filed for re-election. Horton represents Ward 3 and was first elected to the Board in 2022.
A longtime Carson City resident, Horton dedicated 35 years to the city’s Public Works Department, retiring in 2020 as Deputy Public Works Director. Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, he says road repair and maintenance will remain his top priority if re-elected.
“Street repairs continue to be a major focus,” Horton said. “We need innovative, forward-thinking solutions to make meaningful progress. Finding a revenue source that the community can support is critical. I have new ideas and am working with others on funding options.” He adds, “I’m committed to working diligently over the next several years to make significant strides in improving our roads.”
Horton welcomes questions from the public. He can be reached at Reelectcurtishorton@gmail.com.
