I spent Nevada Day morning in Carson City watching dozens of hot air balloons rise into the sky — and honestly, my inner child was thriving. The colors, the calm air, the sound of burners firing — it was pure magic. As a professional real estate photographer, I’m usually focused on architecture, interiors, and design, so this was such a breath of fresh air to capture something purely for the joy of it. There was no client brief, no checklist — just me, my camera, and the open sky. These photos reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place: the beauty of light, color, and being present in the moment. Sharing a few of my favorites here as a reminder that the best moments are often the ones that make you feel like a kid again.
