Meet Samson, a big, handsome short-hair silver tabby with a heart just as big as his paws. At 4½ years old, this gentle giant has had quite a journey. He spent his early life as the beloved companion of his person until a housing crisis forced a heartbreaking separation. After six months in a new home, it became clear that he and the resident cat just couldn’t make peace.  Now he’s back at Catmandu hoping to find his true forever home. He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and microchipped.

Samson is an affectionate, easy-going guy who loves being petted, held, and especially enjoys lap time. He’s no couch potato though.  He’s still young and full of playful energy and curiosity. He’d thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore, people to play with, and someone who enjoys spending time with a friendly, social cat.

You might notice Samson’s crumpled left ear — a lasting mark from a dog attack when he was just a kitten. He’s not dog-friendly (and understandably so), and he’d do best in a quieter home without small children or other cats.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with personality and presence, Samson could be the one for you. Come meet him at Catmandu and see if this silver sweetheart steals your heart!
