Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, 2022. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Caroline Street between Valley Street and Anderson Street will be closed, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Challenger Way between College Parkway and Hot Springs Road will be closed, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Mountain Street between Telegraph Street and Robinson Street will be closed, Wednesday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm for a special event.
— Overland Street between Voltaire Street and Cochise Street will be closed, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm for utility work.
— Park Street between John Street and Long Street will be closed, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Robinson Street between Mountain Street and Phillips Street will be closed, Wednesday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm for a special event.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
US 50 between Russell Way and Airport Road will have lane and shoulder closures in the eastbound direction, Monday through Friday, 7:00pm to 6:00am for roadway and sidewalk reconstruction. Work zone speed limits will be reduced to 35 miles per hour, and drivers should expect minor delays. Pedestrians must use existing crosswalks to detour to the north side of the street.
— The following streets will have narrowed lanes and shoulder work between Nevada Street and Mountain Street, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm: Caroline Street, Robinson Street, Spear Street and Telegraph Street.
— Anderson Street between Washington Street and Robinson Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Carson Street at Clearview Drive will have shoulder work, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for signal repairs.
— Clearview Drive at Carson Street will have lane reductions, Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for signal repairs.
— Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway improvements.
— 5th Street between Saliman Road and Warm Springs Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm for utility work.
— Mountain Street between Marlette Drive and Tahoe Drive will have shoulder work, Monday, 8:00am to 1:00pm for utility work.
— Musser Street between Plaza Street and Stewart Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Robinson Street at Division Street will be flagger-controlled, Monday and Tuesday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Sheep Drive between Deer Run Road and Asphalt Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm for utility work.
— Stewart Street between 7th Street and Musser Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm for utility work.
— Stewart Street between Telegraph Street and Musser Street will have lane reductions, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
